Rex Moss, MD

Dr. Moss grew up in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. After graduating from Baylor University, he went to The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston for medical school. For internship and residency, he joined Methodist Dallas Medical Center’s Internal Medicine Program and became board certified in internal medicine. He set up an office and hospital-based practice in DeSoto in 1998. and shifted to a solely hospital-based practice in 2000.

In 2003 an opportunity arose for him to initiate a hospital medicine program in Connecticut. For nine years he cared for acutely ill patients and worked to maintain patient safety in hospitals. He was also privileged to teach residents, being named “Attending of the Year” in 2006 and “Master Teacher” in subsequent years.

In 2012 he and his wife desired to return to Texas to be near family. An opportunity arose to join the Medical Specialists Associated, where he could practice medicine as Christian and in accordance with Micah 6:8. At Medical Specialists Associated, he enjoys focusing on preventing major illnesses, managing chronic illness, and building long-lasting relationships with patients.

Dr. Moss feels greatly blessed to have this opportunity to help and take care of patients.
